They are the perfect jewelry item for when you want to stand out and convey a fashion statement of exceptional beauty and ethereal femininity. Striking, unique, and very romantic, they will accessorize to perfection any outfit for any occasion.
The earrings are handcrafted from polymer clay and are the final result of my search for the best image transfer technique.
If you would instead to have this item as a pendant, please, let me know.
Each item is handcrafted, made with the greatest attention to detail, and gift wrapped.
Crafted from polymer clay, the drop (image part) measures approximately 1 1/2 in x 3/4 in.
Boreas is an oil painting in the Pre-Raphaelite style created in 1903 by John William Waterhouse.
The 1904 Royal Academy notes described the subject of the painting as:
"In wind-blown draperies of slate-colour and blue, a girl passes through a spring landscape accented by pink blossom and daffodils".
= About polymer clay =
Polymer clay is a relatively new material. It is sold in blocks with a soft consistency similar to play-dough, but once cured, the clay hardens. Depending on clay brand, type of design, and processing, it can be very hard or semi-flexible. Most of the items in my collection such as cuffs and bib necklaces are semi-flexible so they are easy to put on. They are light and comfortable to wear, but quite sturdy. A polymer clay item can of course break, but I use a technique that makes them stronger and more resistant than what you can usually purchase.
My polymer clay items are finished with acrylics, mica powders, and other materials after being cured, and are coated with clear gloss to protect them. In the titles you will see described the colors of the items. A piece described as a copper polymer clay item is not made of copper, it is crafted of polymer clay so as to resemble copper in appearance.
