This is a one-of-a-kind ring handcrafted from polymer clay using my own technique. It is a statement piece that is beautifully distressed and appears to be organic.
The tromp l'oeil art ring is the perfect accessory for any occasion.
This can be adjusted to a pendant.
The ring is very light. It measures approx. 2 1/4 in lengthwise.

I am often asked what techniques I use to produce some of the unique effects for my pieces. Please understand that these techniques are the result of a great deal of trial and error and hard work. I consider them my "secret recipes", so please don't be disappointed that I keep them to myself.
I do not offer wholesale and consignment. Handmade work requires vision, craftsmanship, and effort that mass-produced articles do not. I cannot sell on discount the effort and love I put in creating each and every item. Thank you for your understanding!
Polymer clay is a relatively new material. It is sold in blocks with a soft consistency similar to play-dough, but once cured, the clay hardens. Depending on clay brand, type of design, and processing, it can be very hard or semi-flexible. Most of the items in my collection such as cuffs and bib necklaces are semi-flexible so they are easy to put on. They are light and comfortable to wear, but quite sturdy. A polymer clay item can of course break, but I use a technique that makes them stronger and more resistant than what you can usually purchase.
My polymer clay items are finished with acrylics, mica powders, and other materials after being cured, and are coated with clear gloss to protect them. In the titles you will see described the colors of the items. A piece described as a copper polymer clay item is not made of copper, it is crafted of polymer clay so as to resemble copper in appearance.
Care is easy. Simply wipe the item with a damp cloth and let dry.
All items, except cuffs that use blanks as support, can be customized, usually at no further cost.
All items are made to order. The estimated time of shipping is from one to two weeks. Most items ship in a week and are delivered in two to three days. If you need the item faster, please contact me prior to placing an order to find out if I can accommodate your needs. Priority mail applies to USPS service not the time I fulfill the order in.
All items are handmade by me and hence the longer waiting time.
Thank you very much for your interest and understanding!
I purchase all my earring wires from craft stores. They are nickel-free, but are not specifically listed as hypoallergenic. These earring wires may not be the best option for you if you have very sensitive ears.
I can replace earring hooks with earring clip-ons if requested in advance.
ll my photos are taken by me, in daylight, on our terrace, with an old Panasonic Lumix. I am not a photographer so generally my photos are short of representing the beauty of the real item.
In my collection you will find several image transfer technique items which were created using my own image transfer technique, but with images that are not my own. In this case, copyright is clearly stated and items were created according to the copyright owner's policy. This allows me to use their image for personal and small commercial use, up to 150 times each item, as long as the image is used for tangible items and is not resold as is.
