Old gold celtic knots polymer clay cuff bracelet

I made this cuff as an alternative to the Celtic knot polymer clay cuff. I wanted it to be old gold, aged and distressed, and worn out as much as it could be and it just had to have a patina.
The cuff is handmade of polymer clay. It has been cut, stamped, formed, wet-sanded, and painted by hand. I have used acrylics for color.
It is flexible so it will easily accommodate your wrist but very sturdy (I use a different technique to make it very durable).
The approx. measures are: L7 in x W2 in or 17.8 cm x 5 cm
My collection is hancrafted so please allow for slight variations in items.
I am striving to present the colors of my items as accurately as possible, but all monitors are different and the item may appear slightly different on your screen.
The cuff is handcrafted with the greatest attention to detail.
= About polymer clay =
Polymer clay is a relatively new material. It is sold in blocks with a soft consistency similar to play-dough, but once cured, the clay hardens. Depending on clay brand, type of design, and processing, it can be very hard or semi-flexible. Most of the items in my collection such as cuffs and bib necklaces are semi-flexible so they are easy to put on. They are light and comfortable to wear, but quite sturdy. A polymer clay item can of course break, but I use a technique that makes them stronger and more resistant than what you can usually purchase.
My polymer clay items are finished with acrylics, mica powders, and other materials after being cured, and are coated with clear gloss to protect them. In the titles you will see described the colors of the items. A piece described as a copper polymer clay item is not made of copper, it is crafted of polymer clay so as to resemble copper in appearance.

Care is easy. Simply wipe the item with a damp cloth and let dry.
Sizing details
All items, except cuffs that use blanks as support, can be customized, usually at no further cost.
Estimated time of shipping
Many of my items are made to order, except one-of-a-kind listings. None of my items is mass produced, manufactured or for resale (as it is the case of many Etsy shops). Handmade work requires time, effort, and a lot of love and hence there is a wait time of 2 to 3 weeks. All one-of-a-kind items are ready to ship in 1 to 3 days.

Earrings wires
I purchase all my earring wires from craft stores. They are nickel-free, but are not specifically listed as hypoallergenic. These earring wires may not be the best option for you if you have very sensitive ears.
I can replace earring hooks with earring clip-ons if requested in advance.
Photos
All photos are taken by me. I am not a photographer so generally these fall short of representing the beauty of the real item. Also colors, though very close to reality, may differ in shade and luminosity.
Transfer image copyright
In my collection you will find several image transfer technique items which were created using my own image transfer technique, but with images that are not my own. In this case, copyright is clearly stated and items were created according to the copyright owner's policy. This allows me to use their image for personal and small commercial use, up to 150 times each item, as long as the image is used for tangible items and is not resold as is.
